Since we do not have children in-house, our requirements of material donations are limited.

The only requirement is love and right intent. Every time you make a donation, we shall assume that you love the beneficiaries - the children and your intent is to help our organization to reach out to them.

There is no legal upper ceiling that we are aware of. So we leave it to your good sense to decide on this question.

The question is not applicable for an organization like ours, who do not have children in-house.

There is no mandatory requirement for periodic donations. The frequency, amount of donation is entirely at your discretion.

So far we haven't done third party fund raising. We would like to hear from you and see what are your terms and conditions for the same.

So far we haven't approached corporates for CSR. If you know of any corporates, who would be interested in funding organizations like ours, we would like to get in touch with you and see what are the terms and conditions for the same.

You can get in touch with us and we can refer you to other organizations who could suit your requirements.

My Child does not have a FCRA and so cannot accept foreign donations. We accept donations from tax paying Indian citizens. Therefore, we accept only Indian rupee donations.

50% of your donation will be considered as non-taxable for your personal income tax filing.

Our strategy is three fold. First is prevention. We visit schools that invite us and conduct value education programs, on a need basis. Second is post-institutionalization. We conduct periodic visits to government institutions and child care institutions to conduct group sessions with children. The third and essential component of our work is followups. We encourage children, at their discretion, to stay in touch with us.

There are a number of juvenile cases reported in the mass media - robbery, POSCO,addictions, fights - some even leading to murder. But based on our experience, majority of the accused are apprehended based on circumstantial evidence or for petty crimes. So the number of children committing heinous crimes are a minority. But irrespective of the nature of crime, we believe that every child deserves a second chance.

The following one time personal information is requested from donors - Name, Address,PAN#, Contact # and Email. The first three bits of information are mandatory from Indian Income Tax perspective, if your donation is to be considered as tax exempt for the organization. Else the donation is taxable, at the applicable tax rate. Thus My Child gets lesser share of your donation - net of tax.

As a policy My Child does not reveal your data to anyone, unless required by regulatory entities.

Our work is with children and we respect their confidentiality. By law, we do not divulge the name or any identifying information of the child, if they are Child in Conflict with Law (CICL)/ Child Needing Care and Protection (CNCP) children.

Yes. You are entitled to get a receipt, for every donation that you make to My Child. The soft copy of the receipt shall be sent to you, to the email registered with our organization.

Till date we have never faced this situation. But in an eventuality like this, we shall have a window period of three days from the date of donation, to rectify a genuine error.

We send quarterly reports of our progress to all our donors by email.

It really does not matter if your donation is small or large, as 100% of your donation is used for the social cause.
